Rockin' and Swillin' at the Olympics
Pin It Now!
Well, this is a pretty exciting time for the world, or the winterized world anyway and no place more so than right here in Canada. It's pretty special when your country can host an event such as this. We have a lot to be thankful for and a lot to be proud of too. What a stage to be able to show off our assets...modernism, landscapes, democracy (when they aren't on break), art, music, BC Bud, food and drink.
I'll be posting some Olympic stuff here. Most likely as it relates to music and hockey. If you like to gamble on hockey (why not, eh?) I'll be post my thoughs on the subject over at mrjackstrawSays.
Check out the Vancouver Sun article on The Hockey House...

"Part of our facility is the spontaneity," Bitove said.
"You never know who is going to be onstage, what's going to happen, who's going to be up jamming. That was part of Tyler Stewart's vision around the entertainment -- he wanted to get up there and jam. It could be Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip, it could be Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, whoever.
"He did that a little bit in Salt Lake, and it was a huge hit so he wants to bring that here: Every night a surprise."
