Hallowed Ground...

Pin It Now!

I am a huge fan of the Grateful Dead and of course Jerry Garcia. I listen to more Dead/Jerry music than anything else. Don't be shocked. It's just so good and there's just so much of it on archive.org and well, everywhere. I mean they recorded everything... So The Tragically Hip are about to play The Fillmore in San Francisco. Worlds are colliding. Now this Fillmore isn't the original Fillmore West that was located at Market and Van Ness and was formerly known as The Carousel Ballroom, but it carries a lot of the old history with it. In particular - upstairs. When you walk up the stairs you come face to face with the image below of Jerry and then you go into a room with an amazing collection of 60's San Francisco rock posters. It's like a museum. The venue has posters from other eras as well, including some of past Hip shows. You have to really look though as they are scattered throughout the whole venue. A cool place if you ever get the chance...

I guess the only question is, "Will The Hip play The Dire Wolf?"
