Best Hip concert I have been to, the atmosphere was great and at the end everybody was jumping up and down.
Correction: First encore song was Lonely End of the Rink.
Great show.
Thanks for the info.
That show was AWESOME!
I was the girl who pulled Gordie's mic apart during "Twist my Arm".
Was so good to hear "Locked in the Truck..."
We also saw Rob Baker eating dinner at Aran Pub right before the show.
Yep, I meant to post this earlier, but LOER was the 1st encore song.
BEST HIP CONCERT I'VE BEEN TOO!! Some of us Canadians were front row and there was a full on mosh pit the 2nd half of the show and we crowd surfed Gord Downie during Grace too!! CROWD SURFED!!! AMAZING!! And afterwards, so some of us diehards noising around, we met the band in the backroom bar downstairs(minus gordy D)!! they were so chillen!!
BEST NIGHT EVER!!!
... i asked rob baker having beers how long it had been since Gord last crowd surfed and he said he couldnt even remember!! my advice to see a hip show is to go to the NL! great people (they have a lot of dutch fans!) and if you get there even a little early you can get right front row stage!! that would never happen in canada!!
