The Tragically Hip have announced that they will be performing on Canada Day in London's Trafalgar Square and from the looks of things it's going to be a HUGE party.
Every year there is a "Canada Day In London" celebration in Trafalgar Square which is where Canada House just happens to be located. These celebrations include road hockey, Tim Hortons coffee, poutine & hot wings booths, beer and it also seems to involve dressing up in full on Canadiana --- whatever you deem that to be.
Jann Arden and The Arkells will also be performing.
Did I mention that this is a FREE event? Yep. This will end up being a huge concert from the looks of it. I have spent time in London and there are many, many Canadians living over there. I mean, this appears to be a huge event without The Hip... so 'just add water' as they say.
